Italian steel decarbonisation ranks first in EU: Federacciai
The Italian steel industry is “the most virtuous” sector in Europe for carbon reduction and high energy efficiency, says Italian steelmakers association Federacciai in its 2023 sustainability report obtained by Kallanish.
The Italian sector’s performance was 40% better than the European average for decarbonisation, the association notes without providing more details.
