Italian stainless scrap prices hike

Italian stainless scrap prices are increasing in September on high nickel values. Sales volumes this month have resumed after the August lull, with all local mills requesting material, market sources tell Kallanish. Larger purchases have occurred this week, with 304 grade being sold at €1,650-1,700/tonne ($1,957-2,016), up from €1,600/t delivered last month.
