Italian scrap market quietens amid steep price reductions
Italian scrap demand remains quiet this week, with mills reducing their purchasing prices by €50/tonne ($56) month-on-month. The new reduced offers however have not been accepted by some of the largest scrap merchants who refuse to go below certain values for good quality material.
