Italian plate demand drags
Italian heavy plate prices have registered a slight weakening, by €10/tonne ($10.7), since mid-June, relinquishing the previous high point of the range at €690-700/t for S275 grade. According to sources, current market activity remains poor and large buyers are still hesitant to make any moves, Kallanish hears.
