Italian plate producers seek increases

Italian plate producers are increasing prices again this week following surging sales and hiking slab values, Kallanish learns from market participants. Plate re-rollers are now quoting €900/tonne ($974) for the basic S275 grade and €950/t for the higher 355 grade.
