Italian plate prices plummet
Italian plate prices are declining significantly this month in line with all flat and long products, against the backdrop of a demand and consumption slowdown in Europe.
May activity has been weaker on-month, with large buyers pushing down their purchasing prices. Lower sales volumes are being reported due to the current uncertainty.
Despite the price fall, however, heavy plate remains among the best performing products thanks to new European wind turbine project…
