Italian government accepts AM Investco offer for Ilva
The Italian government has formally given its blessing to the ArcelorMittal/Marcegaglia-backed consortium AM Investco bid for troubled local steelmaker Ilva. The authorities announced the decision yesterday 5 June as anticipated. Kallanish notes.
