Italian crude production hikes again
Italian crude steel output hiked again in July after increasing in the previous months, according to data issued by local steelmakers association Federacciai.
Last month crude steel production rose by 27% year-on-year to 2.2 million tonnes, Kallanish notes. Output also hiked significantly in the first seven months of the year, by 26.1% on-year to 14.9mt.
Italian flat steel production also rose by 24.8% to 960,000t, and by 14.9% to 6.5mt in the first seven months …
