Italian crude output ticks up
Crude steel output in Italy ticked higher for the first time in months in November after tumbling in September and October and giving some signs of recovery in August.
According to data issued by local steelmakers association Federacciai, November output was up 3.2% year-on-year to 2 million tonnes, Kallanish notes.
In the first eleven months of the year Italian steelmakers produced 18.7mt of crude steel, down -14.2% y-o-y.
