Italian crude steel output increases again
After significantly increasing in the first four months of the year, Italian crude steel output hiked again in May by 18.8% year-on-year, according to data issued by local steelmakers association Federacciai.
Last month crude production rose to 2.2 million tonnes, Kallanish notes. Output also hiked significantly in the first five months of the year, by 27.3% on-year to 10.5mt.
