Italian CRC, HDG prices weaken
Italian cold rolled and hot-dipped galvanised coil market activity has hit rock bottom. Demand weakness and uncertainty persist, with buyers waiting for prices to continue to fall in the coming weeks. This reflects the decline in values of European hot rolled coil and is derivatives.
HDG and CRC producers in Italy had strong first-quarter sales at high prices but order intake started declining in April, Kallanish notes.
