Iron ore surges on rumours
Seaborne iron ore prices surged on Thursday amid multiple rumours spreading in the Chinese market.
The Kallanish KORE 62% Fe index and KORE 65% Fe index gained $2.61/t and $2.1/t respectively to $117.31/dry metric tonne cfr Qingdao and $132.16/dmt cfr. The KORE 58% Fe index was $2.45/t higher at $104.4/dmt cfr.
