Iron ore slumps without steel support
Seaborne iron ore prices fell sharply on Friday, breaking below $60/tonne for the first time since 15 August. There are still cargos available despite some steel mills restocking for production over the autumn and with output expected to slide, only firm steel prices are keeping iron ore from another slump.
