Iron ore flutters as Chinese forex reserves jump
Seaborne iron ore prices continued to fluctuate in the low-mid 50s as Chinese steel and Singapore iron ore futures gained, but Dalian futures fell and exchange traded iron ore slipped in the afternoon. An unexpected increase in China’s foreign exchange reserves in June meanwhile suggests the yuan could fall further this year.
