Iron ore firms under $50/t
Seaborne iron ore prices firmed on Thursday, confirming their new position just under $50/tonne. With steel prices holding and steelmaking margins still encouraging mills to increase production, they are likely to stay in the high $40s until the steel market turns downwards.
