Iron ore ends week strongly on solid trading

Seaborne iron ore prices firmed again on Friday as trading remained busy. Chinese steel prices also finished the week strongly as ferrous market sentiment in the country continues to ebb and flow (see related article). The Kallanish index for 62% Australian fines strengthened again by $2.63 to end the week at $64.65/dry metric ton cfr Qingdao.
