Iranian 11-month steel production falls slightly
Iran's finished steel output fell 1.1% on-year to 19.78 million tonnes in the first 11 months of the current Iranian year – 21 March 2023-19 February 2024. On the other hand, driven by billet and bloom, the country witnessed an increase in semi-finished steel production, along with a surge in steelmaking raw materials output, notes Kallanish.
