GFG Australia unit to acquire group’s US assets
Australian steelmaker InfraBuild is planning to acquire the US assets of its parent company, GFG Alliance, in order to create a more vertically integrated product portfolio and enhance synergy, it says.
The firm plans to purchase the operating assets of Keystone Consolidated Industries, Johnstown Wire Technologies, and Georgetown Steelworks. These businesses are spread across four states in the US: Ohio, Pennsylvania, New Mexico, and South Carolina.
