Indonesia proposes sections safeguard duty extension
The Indonesian Safeguards Committee (KPPI) has completed the investigation concerning safeguard duties against imported I and H sections of alloy steel other than stainless steel, and proposed an extension of another three years, Kallanish notes from the World Trade Organisation (WTO).
The products involved are alloy-added H-beams up to 100mm x 350mm and I-beams up to 100mm x 600mm under HS codes 7228.70.10 and 7228.70.90.
