India’s NMDC raises February iron ore output, deliveries
NMDC’s iron ore output grew 12% on-year to 4.31 million tonnes and deliveries surged 22% to 3.97mt in February.
NMDC’s Chhattisgarh-based mine’s production rose 3% on-year to 3.25mt, against 3.15mt produced last year. Sales also grew 5% to 2.76mt in February. Karnataka-based mine production and sales rose 49% and 92% respectively on-year to 1.06mt and 1.21mt, Kallanish notes.
