Indian scrap offers plummet amid fiscal year-end
Subdued domestic steel demand and the approaching fiscal year-end have dented scrap import sentiment in India. On the back of a muted Turkish market and weak Pakistan and Bangladesh economic activity, sellers have reduced their quotes to attract Indian buyers but could not conclude many deals in India, Kallanish notes.
