Indian pellet producer slashes domestic prices
Indian iron ore pellet producer Godvari Ispat Pvt Ltd (GPIL) has reduced pellet prices by INR 300/tonne ($4/t) for April.
Currently, pellet prices for Fe 63.5% stand at INR 9,200/t, and for Fe 66% (+/-0.5) at INR 10,700/t ($128/t) in Raipur.
In March, the company raised pellet prices by INR 200/t ($2/t). This month's decrease is attributed to sluggish export demand to China and stable domestic demand.
