Indian coil suppliers return with competitive EU offers
During the last week traders have heard a number of competitive offers for Indian coil into Europe, Kallanish learns from sources.
Hot rolled coil buyers need to calculate an additional 25% safeguard duty on Indian imports; offers therefore seem to be relatively in line with the domestic market. The lowest India-origin offers were heard this week at €800/t ($949) cfr southern Europe, to which the 25% duty needs to be added.
