India withholds HRC amid hike expectations, Covid threatens
Indian mills continue to withhold their hot rolled coil export offers as the majority of exporters anticipate the global market to surge further after the Chinese New Year holidays.
The recent hike by ArcelorMittal in the European domestic market (see separate story) has further raised Indian exporters’ expectations and mills consequently prefer to start offering once the hike settles to a point.
