Improved capacity utilisation, prices boost Graphite India profit
An increase in capacity utilisation to 93% coupled with higher sales prices boosted Graphite India’s earnings in the September quarter, although margins were hampered by the higher cost of needle coke feedstock.
Revenue in the second fiscal quarter through September surged over four-fold to INR 2,345 crores ($323.84 million), while net profit grew over ten-fold to INR 1,113 crores.
