Imports add to pressure on US rebar
A new wave of imports could add to the raw material pressure affecting domestic rebar, Kallanish learns from market sources.
On-going decreases in scrap are testing domestic rebar’s current level of $600-620/short ton for #4 product in 20-foot sticks.
