Imidro appoints new chief
Vaji Jafari has been appointed the new chairman of the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (Imidro). He replaces Khodadad Gharibpour who was in the position for two years.
Jafari was previously chief executive of Iran Minerals Production and Supply Company (Impasco). No reason was provided for Gharibpour’s departure.
