Hyundai Steel to build power plant for EAF
South Korean steelmaker Hyundai Steel plans to build a liquefied natural gas (LNG) power plant at its Dangjin plant to meet the power needs of the steel plant as it switches to electric arc furnace (EAF) steelmaking to reduce carbon emissions, Kallanish notes.
