Hyundai Steel extends maintenance at Incheon plant
South Korean steelmaker Hyundai Steel has decided to extend the maintenance at its Incheon plant by a month until July.
The steelmaker has opted to further reduce production as the construction industry recession continues, Kallanish notes. Hyundai Steel is also considering running some lines only at night during the summer.
