Hoa Sen December-quarter revenue reaches record high
Vietnam's Hoa Sen Group, which includes steel production and trading arms, earned record high revenue in the first three months of its 2021-22 fiscal year through September 2022. Revenue surged 86% year-on-year to VND 16.9 trillion ($747 million), Kallanish notes.
Meanwhile, after-tax profit in the December quarter totalled VND 638 billion, increasing by 11.5% from the corresponding period a year earlier. Steel sales rose 12.5% to 604,518 tonnes.
