Hoa Phat operates bulk carrier for steel shipment
Hoa Phat Shipping Joint Stock Company held a departure ceremony for its HPS-01 bulk carrier last week, marking the maiden voyage of the 24,500-tonne new vessel.
The ship, filled with 24,000t of hot rolled coil from Hoa Phat Dung Quat port, was headed to Ho Chi Minh and Vung Tau in the southern region of Vietnam, Kallanish learns from Hoa Phat. It is designed to transport raw materials and finished products, mainly HRC, on inland waterways.
