Hiap Teck’s earnings triple on higher JV profit
Malaysian steelmaker Hiap Teck Venture has seen its earnings surge for the third quarter ended 30 April 2024 due to higher joint venture profit, Kallanish notes.
The firm says in a bourse filing that its net profit for the quarter soared more than three times to MYR 46.82 million ($9.92m) from MYR 15.03m a year ago.
