HBIS starts auto-sheet project with Posco
China's Hebei Iron & Steel (HBIS) and South Korean steel producer Posco held a ground-breaking ceremony on Friday for the automotive sheet project of their joint venture company, Kallanish notes.
The two companies have agreed to jointly build a production base for galvanized steel sheet for the automotive sector in Tangshan Laoting Economic Development Zone, Hebei Province. They will also integrate one galvanizing line in Guangdong into this project.&…
