ArcelorMittal successfully tests green hydrogen in Canada

ArcelorMittal Long Products Canada (AMLPC) has conducted its first test of green hydrogen for the steelmaking process, Kallanish learns. ArcelorMittal’s plant in Contrecoeur, Quebec, replaced 6.8% of the natural gas used in direct-reduced iron production for a 24-hour period.
