France assures Ascoval support, Liberty UK production disrupted
The French government “will be behind Ascoval’s workers under any circumstances”, economy minister Bruno Le Maire stated on national television. This comes amid concern over the future of the Ascoval and Hayange mills due to the bankruptcy of Greensill Capital, Liberty Steel’s main lender.
