Freefall continues in US HRC pricing
The freefall in US hot rolled coil pricing is continuing this week, with spot market buyers holding off on purchases to see just how low prices will go, Kallanish finds.
Hot rolled coil prices are down $130/short ton from last week, reported this week at $1,220-1,300/st, ex-works domestic mill. Prices have been on the decline since peaking at $1,960/st in September last year.
