Firm OCTG pricing is expected in US
Even with improving availability and falling skelp pricing, US OCTG prices are not expected to decline anytime soon.
Tight supply has characterised the US energy tubulars market as of late, with lead times currently extended into the third quarter.
Tenaris has said it will ramp up OCTG production at its facility in Blytheville, Arkansas (see Kallanish 21 January), with plans to steadily increase capacity and volumes over the next few months.
