Far East sentiment pushes Iran billet prices higher
Iranian semi-finished steel supply is increasing, as are export prices. The surge in Far Eastern billet prices to current levels of $510/tonne fob, up from $480-485/t fob a month ago before the Eid holidays, has also had an impact on bids from Iranian billet export tender participants, notes Kallanish.
