Falling Chinese wire rod prices attract export attention

China's steel market demand has fluctuated this week, but production restrictions prevented steeper price falls. On Thursday, Kallanish assessed 6.5mm diameter mesh-grade wire rod at $740/tonne fob China, down by $10/t from a week earlier.
