Evraz’s youngest coal mine surpasses 2022 output plan
Russia’s Koksovy open-pit mine, part of steelmaking group Evraz, is the latest among Raspadskaya Coal Company’s units to reach a significant mark in coking coal production in 2022, the company says.
The enterprise mined 1.7 million tonnes of coal last year, Kallanish notes. The mine thereby fulfilled the production plan, the enterprise claims. Overburden and mining operations continue without slowing, it adds.
