European scrap prices move down less than expected
European scrap prices are preparing to fall by €25-30/tonne ($26-32). The exception is Italy where values already fell by over €100/t in May and are continuing to decline only slightly for June contracts, by €10-15/t month-on-month. Some grades, however, such as shredded E40, will decline by less than others due to short supply, sources tell Kallanish.
