Emissions-free developer Boston Metal raises $262m in capital
Boston Metal, an emissions-free steel developer supported by Bill Gates, has raised $262 million from investors including four venture-capital firms that are participating for the first time, Kallanish learns.
The company confirms that it has closed its Series C fundraising. New investors include Aramco Ventures, M&G Investments, Goehring & Rozencwajg and Baillie Gifford. Continuing participants include Gates’ Breakthrough Energy Ventures.
