Emirates Steel leaves rebar unchanged, reassures retail market
United Arab Emirates market setter Emirates Steel (ESI) has kept its domestic rebar (BS4449:2005 Grade GR500B) prices unchanged for the second consecutive month at AED 2,735/tonne ($745) ex-works theoretical weight for April rolling.
The move has been praised by traders as a signal of stability amid the worrying global price downtrend.
