Egypt drives Turkey's February HRC exports, EU absent
Turkish hot rolled flat steel exports declined on-month in February, but surged on-year. Egypt was the largest importer amid the almost complete absence of European dispatches, Kallanish notes.
Turkey exported 112,375 tonnes of HR flats under HS code 7208 in February, down 33.6% on January but up 38.5% on-year, Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data show. Two-month dispatches totalled 281,481t, up 38.8% on-year.
