EC to look over thyssenkrupp-Tata merger
The merger process between Germany's thyssenkrupp Steel Europe and Indian-owned Tata Steel Europe has been handed over to the European Commission for an antitrust examination.
The notification was received on 25 September, Kallanish learns from a spokesman at the commission. According to the commission’s website, a provisional deadline is set for 30 October.
