Dutch firm embarks on greenfield wire rod project

Dutch rebar and wire mesh producer Van Merksteijn is taking tangible measures to encounter the prevailing shortage of wire rod in Europe.  It is elaborating plans to establish a wire rod mill in Eemshaven, in the north of the Dutch province of Groningen.
