Dexin announces decarbonisation roadmap
Indonesia's Dexin Steel has published its first environmental, social, and governance (ESG) report on its website, in which it outlines its plans for peak carbon emissions and carbon neutrality.
The steel mill plans to achieve peak carbon for scope 1 and scope 2 emissions in 2025 and to reach carbon neutrality in 2058, Kallanish notes. This goal is slightly earlier than Indonesia's national goal of achieving carbon neutrality by 2060.
