CSN`s first-quarter steel production rises, ore output reduces
Brazilian steelmaker Companhia Siderúrgica Nacional (CSN) increased its steel production both year-on-year and quarter-on-quarter in the first three months of 2020. Nevertheless, the company saw its net revenue decrease on lower sales, Kallanish learns from the company`s operating report. CSN`s iron ore performance, meanwhile, decelerated due to heavy rainfall in Brazil at the beginning of 2020.
