CSC sales recover in March
China Steel Corporation (CSC), the leading steelmaker in Taiwan, saw March production increase on-month despite falling on-year. Operating profits increased with higher production in Q1 on-year, Kallanish learns from its March preliminary result.
The carbon steel sales of CSC in March increased 2.8% on-month to 661,363 tonnes despite being 4.3% lower compared to the previous year. It produced 1.98 million t in Q1, up 3.8% on-year.
