Construction employment levels fall in Canada
Construction employment levels fell in Canada during March, Kallanish learns from data gathered by Statistics Canada.
According to its latest labour survey, employment levels for Canada's construction industry fell by 1.2%, or 19,000 jobs, in March. This latest decline follows very little change in employment levels during the prior month and partially offsets the cumulative gains of 42,000 jobs in December 2022 and January of this year.
